Road Construction Affecting AO / GCI Patients & Staff as of September 30, 2024

Our Oak Lawn and Chicago Ridge locations will be impacted by this new traffic pattern due to construction.

95th Street, Eastbound between the 294 Interchange and New England Avenue is going to be shut down effective Monday, September 30th through end of October 2024.

IDOT - Harlem Avenue (Illinois 43) over 95th Street (U.S. 12/20)

The Illinois Department of Transportation begin its improvement project on Monday, Sept. 30th at Harlem Avenue (Illinois 43) over 95th St (US 12/20) from 92nd Pl, in Bridgeview, to south of 99th Pl, in Chicago Ridge, passing through Oak Lawn. This project is scheduled to be completed in several stages.

Starting at 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30th through the end of Oct. 2024, eastbound 95th St from Interstate 294 to New England Avenue will be closed to accommodate the installation of new storm sewers. Motorists should follow the posted detour (see below for detour map).

A temporary ramp is being built from westbound 95th St to northbound Harlem Avenue to accommodate the reconstruction of the existing ramp. Traffic is anticipated to be shifted to the temporary ramp later this month., and work will begin on Harlem Avenue later this Fall.

We appreciate your patience during this construction and you can expect delays. Alternative routes are encouraged. Drivers pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits, and be on alert for workers and equipment.
