When to Contact Your Oncologist About Side Effects of Cancer Treatment

Some side effects require immediate attention such as an infection or a blood clot. If you are experiencing any of the following, please contact our office right away, day or night, for your next steps:

  • Fever that is 100.4 degrees (F) or higher

  • Chills that cause you to shake

  • Chest pain or shortness of breath

  • Confusion / Not making sense when talking

  • Severe headache with a stiff neck

  • Bloody urine
