Hematology Services in South Chicago Suburbs

Affiliated Oncologists provide hematology services to patients with coagulation, clotting disorders and other diseases related to blood and the generation of blood in the bone marrow. Hematologists study the red and white blood cells, their relative proportions and general cell health, and the diseases that are caused by imbalances. Conditions that a hematologist treats are leukemia, anemia, Hodgkin's disease, multiple myeloma, and lymphoma.

At Affiliated Oncologists, we are dedicated to expanding the knowledge of cancer and blood disorders and continually working to find better treatment options through clinical trials and other types of research. We participate in clinical trials through Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), a joint venture with US Oncology Research, and are able to provide important access to investigational drugs to patients in our community.
